Vocation of Motherhood

Even thought I am a die-hard Sara Groves fan, tonight I purchased this by artist Audrey Assad (with a coupon of course!). Wow, love it!!! Can't wait to listen more. Love Christian music like this! It's basically a Valentine's gift for myself (even though we don't do Valentine's gifts around here).

This is a picture of my Grandpa celebrating his 97th birthday this past summer. Now he is slipping fast into a new life, so please join us in praying for him and for praising God for the many wonderful years we had with him.

Here is Grandpa with his little namesake, Seamus. When Grandpa was a little boy, he had a Great Uncle that visited from Ireland, Jack Barr. He called him "Seamus" instead of his American given name, James. We found this out after we named Seamus. How ironic!

Because it's just so much fun during these dreary January days! Finally picked out my own Christmas gift(s). Usually Tim and I don't even get each other anything. This year we each got a book and then I got to order something from Vera Bradley... a baby bag and wallet!! And a little notebook, too, for 9.00 which is a complete rip, but I'll do it anyways because it's just so darn cute! And drats, as soon as I saw the word "perforated" they had me! Oh, and I did order through my ebates link which made me feel a bit better...

We went up north (or more north ha-ha!) for the weekend and the boys had a blast fishing at Grandma and Grandpa's. I got to spend time with two of my sisters, Jane and Jill, and my dear friend Tammy. Jill and I also made a stop at Christmas Point and that made the trip even more fun!
